36-year-old Jose Ramon Irusta lives in a village on the northern coast of Spain. "I started photographing in 2005 after a bicycle accident. Doctors recommended that I leave the bike and find another hobby, which for me was photography. I began photographing everything, focusing on landscapes and, more specifically, on seascapes.
"The sea has a special attraction for me. It's never the same. Waves, currents and winds transform so that no two identical images are ever taken. I can spend hours on a cliff watching the waves break, looking at its frequency and waiting for the foam, blown by the wind, to hit my face. When the sun goes down is when I pull out my camera and start taking advantage of the best time to take pictures."
